Premium workwear start-up FableStreet has launched its line of sterilised cotton reusable masks for adults and children.
These masks are made using breathable and natural fabrics such as cotton, are soft on the skin and have been designed in compliance with MOHFW’s guidelines on COVID-19. The thickness and ply count is above 180 to ensure that they are safe to use.
The start-up is taking all essential measures in order to ensure that the manufacturing process is free of any virus transmission and the manufacturing unit is completely sanitised. For the workforce as well, FableStreet has taken all possible measures such as social distancing and operating the factory at less than 30 per cent capacity.
After the mask is prepared, they are fully sterilised by boiling and adding disinfectants and are packaged only then in packs of 5 post which they are sealed for delivery.
All workers are mandated to wear gloves and masks and follow upmost hygiene practices even as the firm has given unbridled access to their CCTV cameras to local authorities in order to allow external checks.

The masks are being retailed at fablestreet.com, priced at Rs. 495 for a pack of 5, and Rs. 990 for a pack of 10 and are being made available in bulk to various organisations including market places, corporates, RWAs. The brand is also giving these masks free of cost to their employees, families and those in need in local areas, e.g., guards, police men, local shops, etc.
The masks are reusable and washable and will last for months without risking contagion.
