Indian ethnic wear brand BIBA has inaugurated its 24th store in the Indian city of Mumbai under its nationwide expansion plan.
Linking Road has become the latest location in the city to host the women’s ethnic wear brand store, which is spread over an area of around 1,100 square feet and stocks latest Spring/Summer 2018 collections to offer.
“Mumbai holds special significance for BIBA as the brand launched its first store in the city back in 2004 and received tremendous love and support from Mumbaikars. We made a pleasing progress in the last 14 years,” reportedly said Siddharath Bindra, Managing Director.
The retailer recently revealed plans to strengthen its presence across the country by doubling its store count from current 246 by 2020. The brand is also available on all leading e-commerce websites. It recently entered into a partnership with Amazon India to launch its ready-to-stitch (RTS) collection exclusively on Amazon.in, a step to bolster its online presence.
The brand celebrates Indian ethnic fashion by capturing the imagination of young girls and women across India. It has been dressing and embellishing demure maidens from every corner of the country since 1986.
BIBA, which is investing heavily in its physical retail expansion, now expects Rs. 600-crore revenue in the current financial year with all its plans in place.
