Esprit is returning to the marketplaces in the UK and the US, with the opening of two new flagship stores in London and New York.
The innovation hubs are part of the group-wide digital strategy to reinvent customer engagement experiences by turning data into insights, whilst fuelling the brand’s global expansion.
The London location is scheduled to open before the end of 2022, and the New York location is planned for the first quarter of 2023.
It’s interesting to see that the customers will be able to interact with the store merchandise, online and immersive experience and other engagement experiences at the new hubs with a mix of retail and research under the Esprit Futura concept.
The company will use the London location as a dedicated ‘global customer experience innovation centre’ that will focus on researching distinctive consumer experiences and the New York location will concentrate on innovative design as it aspires to grow internationally in order to increase its omnichannel retail reach.
Additionally, Amsterdam’s tech and innovation hub will be looking into digital solutions, portfolio management, global operations and denim research.
William Pak, Chief Executive Officer at Esprit, said “Esprit is in the process of transforming into a truly global company with the creative minds and processes in key cities enabling consumers to be connected to the brand on a multi-dimensional level. This enables Esprit to adapt to major challenges in fashion and the macro environment in order to propel into the future.”
Notably, he mentioned that Futura is committed to leveraging digital, innovation and cross-border collaboration to enhance the customer experience and empower circularity and will be actively collaborating with experts, designers and start-ups within the fashion ecosystem.
