Following its long-term pop-up in New York, fashion brand Esprit has reintroduced itself to North America with the opening of a summer pop-up at The Grove in Los Angeles.
The 2,360 square foot LA pop-up, which will be open throughout June, was created to let customers “fully immerse themselves in Esprit’s playful, modern, and cool attitude,” according to a statement from the brand.
Commenting on the opening, William Pak, chief executive at Esprit, said: “We opened this pop-up at The Grove to revisit Esprit’s roots as a West Coast-founded brand while building our North American retail presence.”
In conjunction with its official global relaunch in the autumn of 2023, which will modernise the brand’s legacy and values for today’s consumers, the pop-up opening is a part of the brand’s wider North American expansion plan for this year and into 2024. It intends to build pop-up shops and permanent retail sites in important markets including New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver.
In order to help the brand have a “truly global presence,” the modern fashion company created innovation centres in London and New York in addition to its current location in Amsterdam last year.
