431-88, led by Shweta Kapur, is known for its modern, sensual, and feminine designs, while Ekaya Banaras, with a 120-year legacy, is recognized for its exquisite Banarasi craftsmanship. The collaboration blends 431-88’s focus on comfort with Ekaya’s expertise in traditional textiles.
Palak Shah, founder of Ekaya Banaras, has brought her vision to the collection with pre-draped sarees inspired by natural elements like flowers, water waves, and earthy textures. The designers aim to make these pieces more accessible to the younger generation, encouraging a renewed appreciation for cultural heritage.
