
Dick’s Sporting Goods, the largest US-based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, has announced to open four new stores in the US this month.
These stores will be inaugurated at Aurora, West Long Branch, Gurnee and McAllen. The grand opening events will be held from May 19-27, 2018. Great prizes and meeting special guests, such as former New York right fielder Darryl Strawberry, will be major attraction of the each grand opening weekend.
The stores will feature apparel, footwear and sports equipment from the company’s own private brands such as Tommy Armour, CALIA by Carrie Underwood, Field & Stream and Ethos. Customers can also get products of Nike, Under Armour and Adidas at these upcoming stores.
The company is excited ahead of its launch in the aforementioned areas as customers can now get quick and convenient access to thousands of products from top, national brands and best-in-class customer service from Dick’s expert associates.
With the opening of these outlets, the retailer will take its store count to 731 in 47 states across the US. The new stores will create job opportunities for more than 280 people including full-time and part-time and temporary associates in these localities.
Earlier, the company announced to open around 19 new Dick’s Sporting Goods stores and relocate around four this year. Out of the total 19, eight of them are likely to be inaugurated in the first quarter of the current fiscal.
