Small plus-size businesses have been amongst those who have been worst hit by coronavirus – and expectedly so.
And to help such businesses, US-based Dia & Co. will be launching Dia Holiday Market on 17 November.
Founded by Nadia Boujarwah, Dia & Co is a fashion brand that targets sizes 14 to 32 and offers style options to consumers with varying body types.
Dia & Co, on noticing that more than 30 per cent small plus-size bricks-and-mortar retailers are struggling owing to forced store closures, decided to help these ailing retailers survive and succeed.
That’s how Dia Holiday Market online platform came into being!
Dia Holiday Market will provide the small retailers selling plus-size apparels an online platform to host their business as well as sell their products. Those who signed up last month will be able to avail it free.
Notably, those joining the Dia Holiday Market will be also able to access Dia & Co’s marketing resources in addition to getting visibility through the platform.
More on the launch of the online platform, Nadia said “There’s never been a time than now where it’s been more critical for women to support women.”
It’s a great initiative to mobilise country’s plus-size retailers and we will keep you posted about details.
