UK’s largest importer and apparel supplier Whispering Smith has some plans for British urban fashion label Good For Nothing!
The apparel supplier has, reportedly, bought Good For Nothing for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition is seen as Whispering Smith’s plans to help Good For Nothing expand its range of ladieswear, outerwear and denimwear.
There are also plans to unveil new cotton jersey collections for Spring 2021 and knitwear collections for Autumn/Winter 2021.
Also, Good For Nothing’s fulfillment and warehouse space will now move to Whispering Smith’s Manchester-based warehouse that extends over a large area of 500,000 square feet.
The relocation will cut down costs and thereby help Whispering Smith focus on investing in other business areas.
Launched in 2010, Good For Nothing turned to Whispering Smith for help with production as well as distribution in 2016.
More on the same, Jack McCleish, MD, Good For Nothing said that the relation has evolved over the years and merger is now an opportunity to take the brand forward.
Reportedly, the predicted 2021 sales for Good For Nothing under Whispering Smith will be 500,000 pounds.
Founded in 1967, Whispering Smith supplies to leading retail brands that include the likes of JD Group and The Hut.
