Celine has named Liu Shishi as its newest global ambassador, marking the brand’s first new ambassador since Michael Rider, the American-born creative director, took the helm. A trained ballet dancer, Liu is best known in China for her portrayal of Long Kui in the hit fantasy drama Chinese Paladin 3.
With 42 stores across China, including a newly renovated 300-square-meter flagship in Hangzhou, China remains a vital market for Celine. The brand praised Liu as a “remarkable actress,” admired for her elegance, artistry, and versatile talent, qualities that align perfectly with Celine’s sophisticated image.
Liu joins a prestigious group of global ambassadors, which includes Korean actress Su Ji Bae, singer V, actor Park Bogum, and Danielle from the K-pop group NewJeans, as part of Celine’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global presence.
