Brandman Retail has entered into a strategic partnership with ANTA Sports Products Limited to introduce the sportswear brands Wilson Sporting Goods and ANTA to the Indian market.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Brandman Retail’s position in India’s premium sports and athleisure segment, as demand for international sportswear brands continues to grow.
Under the partnership, the companies plan to open dedicated mono-brand stores for Wilson and ANTA in key metropolitan cities across the country. The first store is expected to launch in April 2026, showcasing a range of footwear, apparel, equipment and accessories from the two brands.
For India, the brands will introduce a curated product portfolio designed to meet the needs of local athletes and sports enthusiasts. The offering will combine global performance technologies with insights into local consumer preferences.
Wilson is widely recognised for its leadership in racket sports equipment, particularly within the global tennis community, while ANTA ranks among the world’s largest sportswear companies, with a strong focus on performance-driven apparel and sports technology.
Founder and Director, Brandman Retail, Arun Malhotra said the Indian premium sports and athleisure market is experiencing strong momentum, driven by increasing demand for global performance footwear, apparel and sports equipment. He added that interest in premium sportswear is expanding beyond metropolitan areas into Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, and that introducing internationally recognised brands such as Wilson and ANTA through dedicated retail stores would help bring world-class sports products closer to Indian consumers.
Store rollouts are scheduled to begin in April 2026, with expansion planned across multiple cities over the next 12 to 18 months.
Founded in 2021, Brandman Retail focuses on omnichannel retail, brand licensing and retail-led brand expansion in India. The company currently partners with several international brands, including New Balance, Saucony, Rockport and On.
