
Fashion business Bonkers Corner, which caters to Generation Z, has collaborated with Hello Kitty from Sanrio, a Japanese brand, to introduce a new line of women’s clothing. In an effort to increase Hello Kitty’s presence in India, Sanrio and its licencing firm Dream Theatre have partnered to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the character.
“This partnership is a major step in improving Hello Kitty’s presence in India”, shared Silvia Figini, Chief Operating Officer of Sanrio GmbH (EMEA, Oceania, and India) and Mister Men Limited (Worldwide). “This collaboration plans to launch Hello Kitty’s beloved kawaii style to fans across the country.”
The Bonkers Corner collection presents Hello Kitty graphics on a variety of apparel such as skirts, bottoms, oversized T-shirts, crop tops, and caps. This collection made its first appearance at Bonkers Corner’s flagship store in Lower Parel, Mumbai, with prices varying from Rs. 299 to Rs. 1,099.
