On 9th February, Arc’teryx will open a prominently placed shop-in-shop at La Samaritaine luxury shopping complex in Paris.
“Featuring a minimalist design inspired by nature, the carefully curated 80-square-meter retail space on the ground floor of the Rivoli building offers an immersive experience referencing the topography of the city of Paris and its surroundings,” a news release from Arc’teryx stated. A variety of practical and performance pieces from Arc’teryx’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection will be on display at the shop-in-shop.
It will serve as the brand’s initial point of contact with Parisian customers before Arc’teryx has a far more widespread presence in the Marais neighbourhood of the city. The Amer Sports organisation owns the brand.
Arc’teryx will actually open a two-story flagship at 42 rue des Francs-Bourgeois in the coming weeks, ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. This location, which has a strong fashion vibe thanks to the nearby Sandro, Uniqlo, and Zadig & Voltaire stores, is perfect for showcasing the brand’s performance apparel to both Parisians and visitors.
The company is aggressively growing its global retail network, and it has increased its London footprint by opening locations in Covent Garden and the Battersea shopping centre. Additionally, it recently debuted a cutting-edge retail idea in Shanghai.
