Leading global brands are opening big stores in India’s metro cities, and in last few days, one has seen retail giants like adidas and Levi’s come up with their huge stores in these cities.
adidas, the German sportswear giant, has opened its largest store in Bengaluru to date. The three-storey store is spread over a 6,500 square-foot area.
It mixes offline and online shopping with its digital touchpoints throughout the store and features adidas’ full range of clothing and accessories for running, training, sportswear, football, basketball, golf, tennis and outdoors for men, women and children.
adidas’ senior brand director Sunil Gupta said, “We are absolutely thrilled to open yet another phenomenal store in the heart of Bengaluru. The store not only provides our consumers a global shopping experience, but also gives them a glimpse into the world of possibilities with adidas, be it through our experience zones, our digital touchpoints or our commitment to sustainability which comes to life with the sustainability wall and the installation made from plastic waste. We consistently want to elevate the in-store experience for our consumers through innovation, creativity and design.”
In another such development, a few days back, Levi’s, a well-known denim and casualwear brand, opened its largest sized store to date in Mumbai. The store measures 3,798 square-foot and houses the brand’s ‘Tailor shop experience’ centre.
Sameep Pathak, CEO, Oberoi Mall, said “We are excited to have the newest flagship store of Levi’s launched at Oberoi Mall, which is not only the largest store in the country but also offers its signature Tailor shop experience.”
