Face masks have become a mainstay for many users as the world starts to adjust to the new norms.
And now adidas is bringing washable face covers in order to fight the battle against the virus.
The cover is not a medical grade mask but the brand claims that it can stop transmission of micro droplets from the wearer to the surroundings and vice versa.
The brand stated that they started working on the design of the cover last month and eventually started allocating resources which have become difficult to source.
The company will be donating £2 for every pack of three purchased in the UK to Save The Children’s Global Coronavirus Response Fund.
The cover itself is made of recycled polyester and elastane that make up the body of the cover. The mask is available in a back variant on their official website for £12.95 for a pack of three.
