
Lululemon, the renowned Canadian activewear retailer, has seen its second-quarter revenue rise by 29 per cent to £ 1.65 billion.
The direct-to-consumer net revenue, during the second quarter, rose by 30 per cent, while the jump was a good 41 per cent from what it was in 2021.
The Q2 gross profit surged by 25 per cent to £ 0.95 billion, despite a fall in gross margin to 56.5 per cent.
Region-wise, the net revenue rose by 35 per cent globally, with 28 per cent increase in North America.
This increased its net revenue forecast to clock between £ 6.82 billion and £ 6.88 billion. The previous forecast was in the range of £ 6.59 billion to £ 6.68 billion.
The retailer, reportedly, said that the momentum in its business continued in Q2, owing to strong guest response to its product innovations, community activations and omni-experience.
Founded in 1998, Lululemon today operates in around 40 stores across Europe, in France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
