R&B Denims – Surat (India)-based textile company – has forayed into ready-made garment business in the denim segment.
The company is a leading denim fabric manufacturer and its decision of going for forward integration by producing denim garments under its own brand name will help scale up business.
R&B Denims, in an exchange filing recently, said that it is capable of producing high-width denim up to 85 inches with its recent major expansion in the new world-class technology of Air jet Looms – Dobby Machines.
Currently, R&B Denims is involved in fabric weaving, dyeing and processing along with backward integration of cotton spinning.
The move of producing denim garments will now complete all the stages of manufacturing denim – from fibre to fabric and thus create designer brands in the value segment for the young Indian population.
R&B Denims’ filing further shows that the company is expecting a growth of at least 10 per cent through garmenting business.
