Small and medium level exporters are increasingly moving towards upgradation to be more efficient as also provide better quality. Noida based, BP Impex, which is doing exports worth Rs. 10 crore in high-end ladies wear to buyers in the UK, Australia and Brazil has gone for upgradation. It has recently installed CAD system of Tukatech and also few advance machines like blind stitch, edge cutter and overlock with gather, to name a few. “We are going slow and steady in upgradation, and our initial investment is not more than Rs. 10 lakh. If it gives us good results, we will add more such machines,” informs Dinesh Jain, Director.
Dinesh is happy with his limited buyers and doing satisfactory business in his unit of 125 machines. The company is SEDEX certified and has its yarn dyed fabric manufacturing unit in Salem.
