Carolina-based Culp Inc., renowned for manufacturing a diverse range of mattress and upholstery fabrics, including its consolidated subsidiaries, (“CULP”), appointed Mary Beth Hunsberger as the Executive Vice President of Culp Upholstery Fabrics, on 8th January 2024. Additionally, the company has outlined its intention for Hunsberger to succeed Boyd Chumbley as the division president in the third quarter of the calendar year 2024. During 2024, Chumbley will collaborate with Hunsberger to facilitate a smooth transition and subsequently continue offering advisory support to strategically guide the company.

Bringing over twenty years of proficiency in the home furnishings sector, Hunsberger arrives at CULP following her roles at DEDON, Inc., where she held positions as Controller and subsequently as President of North and South America since 2016. Simultaneously, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of North and South America for Gloster Furniture from 2023. Her earlier career encompassed a 13-year tenure at Tempur + Sealy International, Inc. Hunsberger will directly report to Iv Culp, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Culp, Inc.
