Pret Collections, a Noida-based export house has entered into domestic market and expecting good business from the same. Ashwani Dass, Partner of the company said, “The main purpose of launching our domestic brand is to showcase our product line which we are already exporting with specialty of hand embroidery. We are catering to upper middle class and they like our products as these are more of international styles. As of now products are available on e-commerce sites and company’s own site, later own it has plan to enter in stores also. We are giving products which were being offered by only international labels in India. As it is first year, we just want to make a mark in market in market.”
As of now, the company has almost 200 stitching machines and it is devoting 10 per cent of its capacity for domestic market. In Export, company’s main business is in Latin American countries like Brazil, Chilly and Europe. Looking to current market scenario, don’t expect much growth in domestic market as we have niche in our products.
