By expanding into new retail markets, improving its online presence, and expanding its product line while keeping socks at the forefront, the Indian sock and innerwear company Bonjour hopes to generate Rs 350 crore (US $ 41.38 million) in revenue over the next two years.
Bonjour’s founder, Raj Kumar Jain, stated in an interview with India Retailing that the brand plans to open around 50 exclusive stores in the NCR region, with a new store every 10 to 15 kilometers. He emphasized that since socks are not a product people typically plan long trips for, there’s significant potential for such rapid expansion in the area.
States like Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh would see an expansion of Bonjour. By the fiscal year 2026, Bonjour hopes to have expanded to 7,000 new retail partners in the NCR, mostly on high streets.
Jain explained that the brand follows a backward integration model, managing yarn production, garment manufacturing, and sock production in-house. These divisions currently generate around Rs 250 crore in revenue, with a target of reaching Rs 350 crore in the next two years.
Founded by Raj Kumar Jain in 1988, Bonjour claims to be the only vertically integrated sock business in India, controlling every aspect of production across 250,000 square feet of industrial area. The company presently runs more than 17 exclusive brand stores in locations like Delhi, Dehradun, and Ambala, and serves more than 17,000 merchants and 180 distributors throughout India.
