With a 13 per cent rise to US $ 6.99 million, Indian innerwear company VIP Clothing has recorded revenue growth for the second quarter. They had previously recorded a revenue of US $ 6.16 million in the previous fiscal year’s second quarter.
Managing director of VIP Clothing Ltd, Sunil Pathare said that the company has experienced revenue growth which was driven by the increasing demand for fashionable and comfortable innerwear. Higher disposable income and more emphasis on hygiene also played a role, he added.
Pathare highlighted that the expanding middle class, e-commerce growth and urbanisation were the key drivers for this growth.
The MD further disclosed in a statement that VIP has recently raised funds which played a significant role in lowering the finance costs and focusing on sales growth through expansions.
With a wide range of intimate apparel for men, women and kids, VIP clothing is one of India’s biggest apparel companies.
