
Anthropologie is partnering with the British sports heritage brand Gola to launch an exclusive leisurewear collection.
The 34-piece collection, which launched on Monday, aims to elevate everyday wear with stylish sweats and cult-favorite sneakers available in exclusive colorways only at Anthropologie. The collaboration came about after customer data revealed a high demand for Gola products among Anthropologie’s customer base. Since February, Gola sneakers have been restocked three times at Anthropologie, added to shopping carts over half a million times, and favorited 21,000 times.
The collection features limited-release apparel items, such as the Gola x Anthropologie Runner Cropped Baby Tee in summer-ready shades, designed and produced in-house by Anthropologie in partnership with Gola. It also includes two pairs of lace-up ribbon sneakers in exclusive colorways created for the retailer.
This collaboration comes at a time when Anthropologie is thriving, with recent quarterly results from parent company Urban Outfitters showing it as a significant contributor to higher-than-expected sales. Gola is also experiencing a surge in interest, thanks to the growing trend for comfort-focused shoes and clothing, as well as a renewed interest in heritage sports brands. Both brands have high hopes for the success of this partnership.
