Fast-growing shirt brand UnTuckIt has partnered with analytics solutions provider RetailNext to ‘unlock in-store conversions’. Leveraging data and insights from its store estate, this partnership has already driven a 6.9 per cent increase in conversions.
Founded 13 years ago, UnTuckIt has evolved from a digitally native brand to rapidly expanding its global store presence since opening in New York in 2015. Now with a store in London, it boasts a physical network of 88 stores with more on the way.
Previously lacking access to crucial data, especially around traffic and conversion reporting, UnTuckIt was limited in its ability to track, analyze, and improve brick-and-mortar operations and performance.
Retail head Sandra Scibelli explained, “We needed data to identify pockets of opportunity where we were performing well and understand what we should do about it, as well as where we could improve. As we started growing, it was clear that we needed one source of truth.”
This need led to the partnership with RetailNext, which utilises its IoT sensor, Aurora. Aurora detects customers ten times every second, ensuring footfall tracking accuracy. Real-time shopper traffic data provides store associates and managers with instant insights.
With an accurate baseline for shopper traffic, UnTuckIt can now identify and forecast peak traffic periods, allowing the brand to optimise staffing schedules to match footfall patterns. By increasing staff during the busiest “power hours,” the brand enhances customer experience and drives sales.
Since implementing RetailNext’s solutions, UnTuckIt has also seen an 18 per cent increase in shopper yield.
