As part of its ongoing retail expansion strategy, C&A, an affordable apparel retailer, is focusing on important cities in Europe. Over the next three years, the Dutch retail behemoth hopes to expand its portfolio by adding 100 new locations, carefully placing physical stores in places that appeal to its target market.
“Over the past three years, we’ve been diligently future-proofing our portfolio: updating, scaling, and relocating, all with a singular objective—to be precisely where our customers desire us to be,” stated Flavia Ballve, external communications representative for Southern Europe at C&A.
The chain plans to prioritise improving the in-store shopping experience, expanding its selection of fashion items, and adding features like lounge areas, hybrid checkouts, click & collect stations, and other in-store ordering services.
Additionally, C&A has stated its goals for e-commerce, aiming for a fully omnichannel strategy where customers’ online and offline purchasing experiences are seamlessly interwoven.
