With the opening of two new brick-and-mortar locations, Powerlook Apparels, a well-known brand in men’s street fashion, has made a major advancement in its expansion strategy. With its locations carefully chosen in Bandra West and Vasai East, Maharashtra, these stores usher in a comprehensive plan to open 50 locations throughout India by 2027.
By 2028, the Indian menswear market is projected to grow to a value of Rs. 330,000 crore, as per Statista. Powerlook is poised to benefit from the growing demand for sophisticated fashion, especially from the younger market, in line with this trend.
Raghav Pawar, Co-founder of Powerlook Apparels, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the Powerlook experience closer to customers. “Our expansion journey begins with the opening of these two offline stores in Mumbai. While e-commerce remains pivotal, we believe in the significance of physical stores, allowing customers to engage with our products before making a purchase. With the launch of these stores, we are not just expanding geographically, but also enhancing the overall shopping experience for our patrons,” stated Raghav Pawar.
Heena Pawar, Business Head of Powerlook, stated, “Powerlook’s recent presence on popular online platforms like Myntra and Flipkart is expected to complement the brand’s offline expansion, further strengthening its market position. The company aims to achieve exponential growth in the upcoming years, building on its current revenue close to Rs. 100 crore in FY 2023-24. In the coming time, we are more focused on adopting a 360-degree marketing approach by showcasing our products on our own platform as well as all available marketplaces.”
Men’s streetwear brand Powerlook is a family-owned business that started its first retail shop in 2010 and has been carrying out e-commerce operations since 2017.
