Moncler the Italian luxury fashion house with its 70th anniversary launch last year with a range of products and collaborations has stepped into the future this year. The iconic brand now looks into its archive for inspiration and returns with the Karakorum jacket. The iconic jacket from 1954 is a part of the brand’s RE/ICONS series which is an annual celebration of reimagining past designs.
In the previous year, the company returned with its Maya Jacket campaign, and this year the second chapter of the RE/ICONS line attempts to combine the past, present and future to re-craft a classic. The original emphasis on warmth and technical detailing is maintained with luxe down-filling to an internal suspender system for carrying. Signature branding elements hit the exterior with the Moncler patch at the chest and a ‘Moncler Karakorum 1954’ callout at the back.
The jacket is available in monochromatic colour options like black, blue, fuchsia, burgundy, green, grey and white and is launched in men’s, women’s and kids sizing in its online stores and selected retail outlets worldwide.
