Macy’s has revealed plans for the introduction of four new small-format stores, marking a significant expansion into the Northeast and Western regions of the US.
These small-format stores are meticulously crafted to offer a seamless shopping experience, boasting renowned market brands, Macy’s private labels, convenient services, local events, and the latest trends, all thoughtfully curated within a shopper-friendly environment.
The new locations of small-format stores include Boston, Las Vegas, and San Diego, augmenting Macy’s presence to twelve stores overall. The expansion kickstarted this month with Macy’s Highland Grove in Highland, Indiana.
The upcoming stores are set to open doors with Macy’s South Bay in Boston, Massachusetts, and Macy’s Arroyo Market Square in Las Vegas in September. The expansion culminates in November with Macy’s Santee Trolley Square in San Diego, California.
Marc Mastronardi, chief stores officer at Macy’s, Inc. commented, “We’re thrilled by the success of our small-format stores and ongoing geographic expansion with our inaugural move into the Northeast and Western region.”
He added, “As a growth vector for Macy’s, Inc., small-format stores offer a curated shopping experience celebrating discovery and convenience. These stores optimize our physical store footprint and bring us closer to existing and desired customers while encouraging more frequent visits.”
