The newest addition to the Qantas Frequent Flyer programme is a marketplace where members can shop for a selection of Qantas-approved brands in categories like apparel, accessories, home decor, and electronics. Over 900 brands and over 20,000 products are currently available in Qantas Marketplace.
Already, the Frequent Flyers can rack up more points while at home than they can while in the air. Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth explained that by integrating Qantas Marketplace, the company is able to provide customers with access to hundreds of their favourite brands while also giving them the opportunity to earn and redeem points.
“We know our members are always looking for more value and ways to boost their points balance, so we’ve increased the points earn rate on the platform too.
“Australia’s love of Qantas Points has seen us build strong partnerships with some of the country’s biggest brands. These connections are key to keeping our members engaged in the program and ultimately drive value for our business,” Wirth added.
As per the CEO , the majority of its frequent flyer members have already accumulated more points through non-air activities than they could ever hope to accumulate through air travel and it is really a great opportunity for shopping at hundreds of popular brands through Qantas Marketplace.
The marketplace features thousands of brands, including Apple, Peloton, Bose, and Dyson as well as Australian brands like Scanlan Theodore, Rebecca Vallance, bassike, Jac + Jack, Viktoria & Woods, BEC + BRIDGE, Country Road and Kirrikin, MCM House and Dinosaur Designs.
