
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited (KKCL) have teamed to make KKCL’s flagship brand, ‘Killer’ the official sponsor of the Indian cricket team.
According to the agreement, the Killer logo will be worn on the right chest of the Indian cricket team’s uniforms through 31st May 2023.
By working together, Killer will be able to connect with the nation’s millions of cricket fans and get ready for a significant retail expansion to meet their demands.
Commenting on the partnership, Hemant Jain, Joint Managing director of KKCL in a statement said, “It is a matter of immense pride for us to be on the India jersey. As a homegrown brand, we are excited to be offered this opportunity to showcase ourselves on one of the most prestigious assets in world sport and we thank our partners at ITW Catalyst for facilitating this partnership with the BCCI.”
“We are looking forward to growing our brand and catering to one of the world’s biggest fan bases. We will be using our network of over 350 stores, 1,800 large format stores,and over 4,000 multi-brand outlets to bring the Indian jersey to the cricket fans,” he added.
Brands like Killer, Easie, K-Lounge, Lawan , integrity, and Desi Belle are a few brands under KKCL since its founding in 1981.
