
Noida-based apparel exporter Vishvas International is in an expansion mode!
The company, entering into denim segment, plans to add a new factory. Currently having 600 stitching machines, Vishvas International is into womenswear products and has strengths of garments made by lightweight fabrics (2 ounce), which are not common.
Gaurav Goyal, Director of the company, told Apparel Resources, “As far as adding new product category of denim is concerned, there are few interesting developments in denim which are quite new for the customers, be it just 2 per cent shrinkage, interesting colour range, washing effects, verities with sustainable practices. There is no issue of colour bleeding in indigo. All this motivated us to add denim products in our product basket.”
The SA 8000 certified company will add a new plant of 200 machines initially, where denim products will be manufactured.
He added “Continuously coming up with new products, new concepts and innovation is the mantra to survive and grow. We remain constantly in touch with our clients to explore new opportunities, and overall improvements, so we can have more business.
“We use a variety of raw materials as fabric base like dobby, tencel, organic fabrics like bamboo and banana fabrics, it is also creating more opportunities for us. Still, there are selected manufacturers those uses these kinds of fabric and that too with various interesting colour combination. As the business will grow, we will explore more sourcing opportunities like directly working with mills or customised orders,” says Gaurav.
