UK-based Hirestreet, the renowned clothing rental platform,is planning to trial a new returns programme – with the intent to minimise processing and item cleaning.
The clothing items that have not been worn by the renters will be redirected to Hirestreet’s warehouse, thereby cutting down the workload of retailers especially with regard to processing the return and cleaning the item.
The trial, reportedly, focuses on solving the concern of large amount of processing within women’s occasionwear rental.
Isabella West, Founder and CEO, Hirestreet, further substantiated and said that the rental platform is piloting a new solution that uses data to identify the clothing items that are frequently returned.
Hirestreet is a fashion rental platform that’s committed to making style and sustainability accessible for all women.
