Anise! That’s the name of JD Williams’ new sustainable womenswear brand.
The British clothing e-tailer recently launched the new brand, which will enable customers to add more sustainable clothing options to their wardrobes – importantly, without compromising on design, fabric or quality.
The sustainable collection comprises T-shirts, blouses, jumpsuits and jeans – not to mention shorts and denim jackets, amongst others.
Notably, it features sustainable fabrics, such as Lenzing Ecovero viscose derived from renewable wood sources, and Repreve recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles.
The e-tailer added that Anise also embraces manufacturing initiatives that have less impact on the environment.
Regarding denim, JD Williams stated that denim, in the new collection, includes recycled fibres and has been made using technology designed by Jeanalogia.
Here it’s important to state that Jeanalogia uses approximately 65 per cent less water compared with a standard pair of JD Williams jeans.
Anise has unveiled on jdwilliams.co.uk and is available in sizes from 10 to 24. Retail prices range from £24 for a T-shirt to £80 for a broderie midi dress.
N Brown Group, which offers a range of products, predominantly clothing, footwear and homewares, generated £594.9 million in 2020.
