China’s garment and clothing accessories’ exports have increased 7.20 per cent in January-November ’20 period clocking US $ 123.57 billion during the period.
Out of the total export values, apparels alone contributed US $ 106.20 billion and rose 1.10 per cent on Y-o-Y basis.
According to the data released by the General Administration of Customs, China (GACC) and further analysed by Apparel Resources, China’s exports of garments and accessories touched US $ 12.55 billion in November ’20, which is 6.90 per cent more than what it exported in November ’19.
As far as monthly performance is concerned, China dropped by 4.78 per cent in November ’20 as compared to October ’20 in its apparel and accessory exports. The apparel exports, out of total apparel and accessory exports, valued US $ 10.43 billion in November ’20.
On the other hand, textile exports from China registered a whopping 31 per cent growth to US $ 141.65 billion in January-November ’20 period.
In November ’20 alone, textile exports clocked US $ 12.04 billion, growing 22.20 per cent on Y-o-Y basis. Fabrics constituted US $ 5.03 billion, marking 0.40 per cent de-growth from November ’19.
