Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) has collaborated with a leading Chinese textile company, The Nanshan Group to launch a new range of 100 per cent Merino wool and wool blend fabrics, called Neulana. Neulana comprises of Neulana Elite for elegant and luxury suits, Neulana Protect for machine washable and weather resistant coats and jackets, Neulana Air for smart casual wear and Neulana Accessori for scarves and shawls. Using these fabrics, premium accessories can be produced as they have been created by maximizing the natural properties of wool such as the ability to hold dynamic colours and suitability for all seasons. These fabrics will be showcased at the latest edition of The Wool Lab by the Woolmark Company, dedicated to the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2016/17 season.
