Online retailer of apparel, outdoor gear, and running shoes, SportsShoes.com, has released its first mobile app in an effort to provide its users with the “best-in-class retail experience.”
As part of the shop’s “ongoing strategic expansion plans,” specialised sports retailing solution provider One Iota developed the app as a platform to connect, engage, and service SportsShoes.com customers as well as support its wider athlete community.
Customers using the app can get tailored content and product recommendations based on their past browsing history and interests; a regular shopping feed is available as a backup.
Along with integrating customer membership choices, the platform allows consumers to sync their SportsShoes.com account with their England Athletics profile, all while facilitating their buying experience. In order to give customers a more customised shopping experience, the company wants to assist them in combining their fitness and running statistics with their purchasing habits.
The company has invested £ 4.6 million on its technology, personnel, procedures, and facilities over the previous three years, which has aided in the development of the app.
Brett Bannister, managing director of SportsShoes.com, said in a statement: “Launching our app marks a major milestone in our mission to help customers lead healthier, happier lives through their fitness and sports journeys.”
SportsShoes.com has re-platformed its websites in the UK and abroad in addition to launching the app to give customers a better online shopping experience with “increased levels of personalisation across both product discovery and advice.”
