SAIZ, a RetailTech company specializing in data analytics for personalised clothing sizing, has secured a €2.5 million seed investment. This funding round, led by EnjoyVenture and Salica Investments, follows a previous investment led by Spread Ventures. SAIZ will utilise the funds to enhance its product development.
The start-up has already partnered with several well-known European fashion brands, including Oliver, Tom Tailor, and Jack Wolfskin. SAIZ’s flagship products, SAIZ Recommender and SAIZ Studio, offer solutions for product optimisation and precise garment measurement. The SAIZ Recommender uses data to provide accurate fit predictions, comprehensive analyses, and detailed reports for e-commerce platforms.
“For us, it has always been about transforming an industry and working with pioneers to solve the sizing and fit challenge once and for all,” said Marita, co-founder of SAIZ.
Laura Noorani from Salica Investments noted, “We’d been looking to invest in this space for a long time but struggled to find a differentiated solution until we met Svenja and Marita and saw what the team at SAIZ is building.” Houghton Street Ventures, which exclusively invests in LSE alumni, also participated in this funding round.
