Elevate, sustainability and supply chain service provider, and Fung Group, a leader in supply chain solution, have entered into a strategic partnership to improve the recovery of retail supply chain with the WorkerApp.
As a part of the agreement, Elevate will work on to further develop and scale the smartphone-based tool to the other countries and languages.
The WorkerApp, developed by Fung Group, is a tool that assists in digital connectivity across the supply chain and better management of the workforce through 3-in-1 functionality of digitising the worker communication, engagement, insights and learning.
The mobile app, launched in 2018 as a service to the consumer goods company chains operated by Fung Group, is now being used by over 50 companies in Vietnam, Indonesia and India.
It has over 300 content educating users on topics like hygiene and preparedness, financial literacy, etc. The content is available in animations, lessons, presentation and bite-sized learning tip and is available in seven different languages including English.
The app can also be used to ensure worker safety through a COVID-19 Health Declaration Survey. The users showing low risk can be asked to return to work while those with high risk can be asked to quarantine. This would ensure the retailers to maintain safe and healthy working conditions for its employees.
The app will be integrated into the capacity building and advisory services of Elevate including the EiQ analytics platform and EiQ supplier solutions. The platform can be used by Elevate customers in retail and brand to increase supply chain visibility while suppliers will be used to increase the efficiency of the workforce by real-time feedback.

Furthermore, all the programming, platform and network will be transferred to Elevate, while the users of WorkerApp will be able to continue using tool without any interruption.
