DressX, the digital fashion company known for pioneering AI-powered styling and avatar fashion, has unveiled DressX Agent, which it describes as the largest AI-powered try-on platform to date.
The platform combines AI-driven styling, personalised avatars, and a curated luxury marketplace to deliver an interactive and tailored shopping experience. Users can create digital twins from a single selfie, try on outfits virtually, and shop from luxury partners including MyTheresa, Ssense, Farfetch, Diesel, and Leam Roma. The platform offers access to over 200 luxury brands, more than one million products, and merchandise valued at over US $ 2 million.
Key features include smart styling tools that enable users to mix and match items into complete personalised looks within seconds, ChatGPT-like search capabilities, and seamless checkout directly from retailers’ official sites.
The founders of DressX, Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova, said that early users had dubbed DressX Agent the “ChatGPT for fashion.” They explained that the platform integrates large language model-powered search with diffusion-based AI try-on frameworks to tackle major industry challenges such as high return rates, poor product discovery, and decision fatigue.
They added that the platform was developed under the leadership of DressX CTO Ivan Zaparovannyi, whose team engineered the core AI try-on technology, resulting in an experience described as natural, playful, and empowering—a new standard for how AI can enhance online shopping.
Access to DressX Agent is membership-based, with tiers ranging from free entry-level access to premium privileges. Users can currently join as a DressX Friend or DressX Member, with a forthcoming Premium tier expected to unlock higher levels of exclusivity and benefits.
Luxury retailers have welcomed the launch. Edoardo Amati, chief strategy and innovation officer at Leam Roma, said the collaboration with DressX Agent aligns with a turning point in e-commerce. He highlighted that AI try-on allows customers to experience products more personally while reducing returns and supporting sustainability in luxury retail.
Shapovalova and Modenova added that DressX Agent reimagines the digital department store, offering a personalised, inspiring, and engaging shopping experience. They compared the platform to a new, AI-powered version of Farfetch, enabling users to try on brands like Diesel and Hugo Boss, style full outfits in seconds, and shop across top global retailers in a single click.
