
Avery Dennison, worldwide leader in adhesive technologies, announces the opening of its next RFID manufacturing facility – and it’s in Brazil.
Come 2021 and Avery Dennison will be launching this new unit, which will also be its fifth in the world.
Located in Vinhedo, Brazil, the new facility will produce an extensive variety of inlay design.
The firm joins hands with Impinj and NXP to produce RFID tags encapsulated with the most advanced chip technology.
Elated over the decision, Ronaldo Mello, VP and GM, Avery Dennison Latin America, averred “We are very proud to announce this investment in Brazil as it represents a significant step for Industry 4.0 growth not only here, but throughout South America, with technology that has proven its ability to enhance inventory accuracy, improve supply chain agility and increase visibility across all channels, besides enabling greater customer interaction and engagement.”
The opening of the new plant with latest technology will help satisfy the growing demand of RFID technology in various sectors.
