Sustainable fashion brand Doodlage has collaborated with vegan leather accessories brand Studio Beej on an exclusive accessories line that features handbags made from cork.
The bags are designed to be functional, ethical and versatile, and will be available to purchase on Doodlage’s dedicated e-commerce store soon.
The minimalist style bags in the line include a large tote, a laptop bag, cross body bag and briefcase, amongst others.
Prior to the collaboration, Doodlage had an accessories line made using fabric scraps and handloom textiles, amongst other materials. The brand also retails an array of clothing, accessories and lifestyle items on its dedicated e-commerce store as well as in a number of multi-brand boutiques.
Studio Beej is a homegrown accessories brand which specialises in products made using vegan leather alternatives. In May this year, the brand became the first in India to launch a handbag made from plastic -free leather alternative Mirum.
To achieve the same, the brand teamed up with Mirum’s manufacturer Natural Fibre Welding to launch the ‘Era’ monochrome shoulder bag.
