The year 2025 is likely to see the comeback of personalised fashion along with the rise of faux fur among other trends, according to the UK based organic-first search agency, MediaVision.
MediaVision has identified the key trends of 2025 which include a resurgence of Y2K fashion, with a particular focus on low-rise jeans, and a continued love for animal prints, especially leopard.
Head of PR at MediaVision, Annabelle Sacher said that this year will have interesting trends. The PR head highlighted that ‘nostalgia’ plays a significant role, while simultaneously, there’s a strong emphasis on ‘individuality and personalization’.
The report also highlights a shift towards accessible luxury. While designer clutch bags are gaining popularity, there’s a growing demand for “designer dupes” and more affordable alternatives, reflecting a conscious shift in consumer spending habits.
Sustainability is also a key factor, with a growing preference for faux fur over real fur, aligning with consumers’ increasing focus on ethical fashion choices.
These trends underscore the evolving sophistication of consumer decision-making. Brands that successfully navigate this landscape will need to offer products that are not only fashionable but also aligned with consumer values, such as sustainability, individuality, and affordability.
