Four professionals at the CXO level have been appointed by the two textile companies of the Reliance Group.
Alok Industries Ltd. has named Biji Chacko as COO, Jayesh Saxena as CEO-Home Textiles, and Ravi Bhargava as CEO of its Apparel & Fabrics segment.
Ravi Bhargava, the former CEO of Matrix Clothing, has begun a new chapter with Alok Industries Ltd. as the CEO of its garment & Fabrics Division. Bhargava has over 25 years of experience working with textile and garment heavyweights. A graduate of the KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, he has also held the position of Executive Director of the renowned Hammem Group, situated in Bangladesh.
Biji Chacko, an MBA in Marketing Textile Chemistry graduate, was earlier the CEO of Indo-Rama Synthetics TBK, Indonesia. Jayesh Sxena, B. Tech, Textile Technology from Technological Institute Of Textile & Sciences, Bhiwani was CEO of Homeantra.
Talking to Apparel Resources Biji Chacko shared, “With the new team, we are focusing on a few major areas, including customers, to serve them with full commitment and a large range of innovative products and working with a vision to retain talent and stakeholders as a loyal base, with an emphasis on their motivation and welfare. As we are moving toward 100 per cent capacity utilisation, we should grow around 30-40 per cent in the current fiscal.”
In addition, Balkrishan Sharma, who previously served as Business Head & Chief Executive-Yarn Business at RSWM Limited, Noida, is currently COO of Sintex Industries, Ahmedabad. Balkrishan has over 35 years of textile business expertise and is renowned for his extensive knowledge and adept marketing abilities. Additionally, he has experience with Vardhman Textiles, SEL Manufacturing, and Ginni Filament.

In a separate development, Tejas Sampat has been appointed as the Board of Directors’ Independent Director for Mysore Sales International Limited. Tejas has extensive experience dealing with leading retailers and brands, including Nike, PVH Corp., and export companies Gokaldas and Texport Overseas.
