Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit Vansi Borsi village in Navsari district on 22nd February for the ceremony of the inauguration of the Prime Minister Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) park. The initiative aims to bolster the textile sector while fostering rural employment and women empowerment.
Under the direction of District Collector Kshipra Agre, the Navsari district administration is making efforts to guarantee that necessary amenities, like energy supply from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL), is available for the occasion.
The 1,142-acre PM MITRA park is expected to become a major centre for the textile industry, drawing large investments and creating a large number of job opportunities in Gujarat.
The park is intended to be a whole textile ecosystem that includes the apparel industry and all phases of production, from manufacturing to processing. The project is expected to bring about a great deal of employment possibilities, improving people’s quality of life and stimulating regional economic growth.
