Hologenix, a leading innovator in textile technology, is set to unveil its second product collaboration with Decathlon, the renowned global sporting goods retailer. Together, they are introducing an activewear collection that harnesses the power of infrared technology to enhance athletic performance and aid in post-workout recovery. This collaboration represents the first fully realised fusion of Hologenix’s CELLIANT® technology with REPREVE® Recycled Polyester innovation.
The CELLIANT technology works by converting the body’s heat into infrared energy, which in turn boosts local blood circulation and cellular oxygen levels. The fabric utilised in the training apparel is a blend of new polyester and recycled plastic bottles, achieved through the integration of CELLIANT into REPREVE Recycled Polyester fibres.
Seth Casden, founder and CEO of Hologenix, expressed his dedication to fostering a healthier world through collaborations like the one with Decathlon. He emphasised how such partnerships exemplify the potential of technology and brand synergy in advancing individual well-being.
The newly launched training set provides athletes with an activewear solution that empowers them to reach new performance milestones. By leveraging their technological expertise, the two companies are not only enhancing athletic performance but also making an impact on the sports industry. Decathlon, known for its sports philosophy catering to athletes of all levels, is now venturing into offering high-performance technical gear for expert users, with the CELLIANT infrared advantage.
Andy De Laender, Product Manager at Decathlon, highlighted the strategic decision to partner with CELLIANT, recognising the demand among athletes for apparel that can elevate their training experiences in whole of US and Europe.
Looking ahead, both teams are eager to expand Decathlon’s product range infused with CELLIANT technology, catering to diverse sporting categories and reaching a broader audience of active consumers.
