Sabs Exports International, a government-recognised apparel export company, has announced plans to invest more than Rs. 60 crore (US $ 6.59 million) in a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit along the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.
The company, which specialises in premium smart-casual knitted garments, was recently issued a Letter of Intent by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), marking the initial step in the land allotment process for the project.
According to YEIDA officials, the new facility will be built in a designated industrial zone and is expected to create around 400–500 direct jobs, a significant boost for local employment. Sabs Exports already operates production facilities in Noida and Greater Noida and exports its menswear and selected womenswear to markets in Europe, the United States and Canada, supplying both multinational and domestic brands.
The proposed unit will feature modern manufacturing infrastructure and form part of broader efforts to strengthen the apparel production ecosystem along the Yamuna Expressway corridor. YEIDA has been actively promoting investment in the region as part of its industrial development agenda.
Company representatives said the project aligns with the “Make in India” initiative, aimed at enhancing domestic manufacturing capacity and encouraging export-oriented growth. Final details, including the project timeline, will be confirmed once land allotment formalities are completed.
