Medical textile is one such sector where quite a few companies are looking for good opportunities.
Ahmedabad-based Bubble Bee Export House recently entered into manufacturing of anti-viral and anti-bacterial hospital uniforms (protective gowns/OT gowns, unisex scrub suits, doctor’s coat, patient dress, gloves and linens). The company has launched its brand ‘C-Guard’ for the same.
All these properties are made in collaboration with HealthGuard Corporation, Australia.
The product being offered by the company are anti-odour and washable up to 30 gentle hand washes. It kills 99 per cent bacteria and 99.94 per cent coronavirus.
Murtaza Lokhandwala, Co-founder of the company told Apparel Resources, “We did proper research regarding quality of the available product as well as the demand of the same. We talked to doctors and the companies offering medical equipment etc. We observed that there is a good scope of quality products.”
He further added that as of now the focus is on the domestic market as there is good demand from domestic market but he is open for export also. As of now, the company is appointing distributors in Gujarat and soon more states will be tapped.
Sedex-approved Bubble Bee Export House works with prestigious international retailers and brands. Now for this new initiative of medical textile, it got CE approval also.
