CapCut, a Chinese video-editing application, has unveiled an innovative AI-driven video-to-text converter tailored specifically to the fashion industry. Originally launched as JianYing in China in 2019 and owned by ByteDance, CapCut expanded globally and gained popularity, particularly due to its association with TikTok.
This AI-powered tool serves as a catalyst for unraveling historical fashion narratives by transcribing videos into text. Going beyond visuals, the tool allows historians and enthusiasts to analyse the underlying stories, societal influences, and cultural implications embedded within pivotal fashion eras. The integration of a video-to-text converter enriches fashion retrospectives, providing an additional layer of storytelling and enabling creators to establish deeper connections with their audience.
Leveraging AI algorithms, CapCut enhances the resolution and sharpness of historical fashion images, bringing every intricate detail to the forefront. The inclusion of the Image Upscaler within CapCut’s suite empowers creators to present historical fashion moments with visual clarity.
ByteDance’s CapCut, the second company after TikTok to surpass US $ 100 million in consumer spending, is expanding into business tools. Recognised for its user-friendly templates, integration with TikTok, and rapid adoption of AI effects, CapCut has become a top consumer video editing app. Its extension into business tools, known as CapCut for Business, focuses on providing tools for marketers, brands, small businesses, and creators to generate ads and branded content. These tools will be available across all devices on the CapCut app.
