
Israel’s smartphone-based measurement solution provider, My Size, has announced that MySizeID delivered over 12 million size recommendations in 2020. The solution helps the customers in finding the right size and, therefore, results in increased conversion rate and reduced returns.
The technology takes into account the shopper’s real time body measurement to help them choose the right size apparel when shopping online.
It helps the customers to measure themselves using the phone and then accurately match them with the brand-specific apparel item in their personal size.
The solution assisted around 1 million shoppers in 58 countries (in nine languages), assisting in the purchase of around 600,000+ apparel items online, in support of 250+ brands in 2020. The trend is also set to increase further in 2021.
Ronen Luzon, CEO, My Size, mentions “More than 12 million sizes were recommended by MySizeID this year and we anticipate continued growth in 2021 as a result of the great e-commerce transformation this year, due to the pandemic. Our various pricing plans with our customers are generally based on Price Per Size Recommendations (PPSR), which vary between US $ 0.01 and US $ 0.10, plus a yearly maintenance fee.”
Furthermore, the company mentions an increase in the demand of the solution globally. The solution is now being preferred by the retailers to increase the customer’s confidence in choosing their appropriate size and fit while shopping online.
