With the release of TrackMaster 2X, RFID technology maker PervasID claims to have set a new industry standard for tracked goods accuracy.
Assuring stock accuracy within 30 to 60 minutes through seamless integration with retailer APIs, PervasID’s TrackMaster 2X boasts 1m to 3m location accuracy and single reader coverage extending up to 240m² (2,600sqft) even in densely packed warehouses or stores. It also reveals the precise location and movement of all tagged goods.
Without the need for labor-intensive manual handheld scanning, the technology enables retailers to precisely track and identify goods throughout their stores using the tags already in place.
Retailers benefit from a multitude of factors, including real-time inventory management information that support effective sales tactics, analyse consumer behaviour, ease restocking and reordering, and maximise omnichannel sales, particularly BOPIS (Buy Online Pick-up In Store). Furthermore, because of its covert monitoring solution, the system reduces shrinkage caused by employee and consumer theft in retail, warehouse, and transportation.
With its latest version boasting a new antenna architecture that lowers equipment and installation costs, TrackMaster, which leverages advanced artificial intelligence, provides a comprehensive solution to modern retail challenges. This ensures a less than 12-month return on investment for retailers of all sizes. Furthermore, strong inventory data analytics are made possible by an improved AI-powered data interface.
Sabesan Sithamparanathan, founder and president of PervasID said, “With TrackMaster 2X, retailers can now capitalise on highly accurate, near real-time tracking of all their goods, offering significant advantages in terms of waste reduction and saving staff time so they can focus on excellent customer experience instead.”
