Mango, the Barcelona-based fashion company has added to its digital transformation journey with ‘Lisa’, a cutting-edge generative AI tool for content creation and conversation.
Mango has been making steady progress with its digitalisation. Over 15 artificial intelligence systems have already been adopted by the company throughout its entire value chain. ‘Inspire’ is one of them; it concentrates on producing visuals, especially for the design department.
Lisa’s main goal is to streamline procedures, from the creation of clothing collections through after-sale care. It uses both private models created especially for Mango and open-source models in its conversational interface, which is reminiscent of Chat GPT.
“Generative artificial intelligence is an extended form of intelligence—a technology that acts as a co-pilot, enhancing the capabilities of our employees and stakeholders.” said Jordi Álex, Mango’s director of technology, data, privacy, and security.
The addition of Lisa fits with Mango’s history of adding machine learning platforms (MLE) since 2018 and its digitalisation plan. In addition to the aforementioned ‘Inspire,’ the organisation has introduced projects like Gaudí, which aims to propose products to clients, and Iris, which operates in 60 countries and is available in more than 20 languages and is largely focused on enhancing customer service.
